Gordon Brown - Why should he advise WAG?

THOUGHT-PROVOKING

Labour has been steadily losing its political grip in Wales so it was no surprise to see the party roll out more support. Nobody expected "more support" to be in the form of former PM Gordon Brown but there again, both he and the Welsh First Minister are politically and ideologically aligned. Hold that thought.

Former PM Gordon Brown's WAG appointment in May 2020 (to help with the pandemic) was reported by the BBC. Most of us were too worried about our businesses and putting food on the table perhaps pay too much attention.

A June 2020 FOI Act request answers questions regarding Gordon Brown's remuneration and role. see

Are the people of Wales aware of Gordon Brown's participation in the "Understanding China" summit? This is the very same Gordon Brown who championed human rights and sold the UK's reserves at rock bottom prices.

“I want to discuss an agenda of ‘cooperation where possible',” said Brown, former UK Prime Minister. “Identifying areas where there are common interests and where by intensifying collaboration we can manage areas of competition and even potential conflict.”

"We need hope … sending out a message that we will now work together to agree on global solutions to global problems is what can most give people hope.”

A question might be, what does globalist Gordon Brown have in common with Wales? When most economies are retreating from dependence on cheaply made Chinese goods and switching to home production, why is Gordon Brown getting cozy with China? How can he be of any benefit to WAG with his globalist ideas? Moreover, his approach is out of step with the vast majority of right-minded politicians recognising the Chinese threat with influence programs to neutralise unfavourable foreign policy against China in the west. How can Gordon Brown swim against the tide?
